The Quarter™ MIPS is the lowest profile helmet Giro has ever made, and it’s also the lightest they’ve made with an ABS shell.
All of the essentials are here - a tough outer shell with impact- absorbing EPS liner, riveted webbing anchors and plush, sweat absorbent pads that are easy to swap for dialing in the fit. A polyurethane coating helps to protect the EPS liner from daily wear and tear. Available in three Super Fit™ sizes. All Giro helmets are designed to reduce as much energy as possible while meeting and exceeding stringent safety standards. The goal of Giro’s MIPS-equipped helmets is to reduce rotational forces. Giro believes that helmets equipped with this technology can reduce the amount of rotational force that may be transferred to rider’s brain in certain impacts.
